Rebuilding ServicesEastern Scientific specializes in the repair and precision rebuilding of all makes and models of mechanical vacuum pumps. The performance of our rebuilt pumps are comparable to that of new pumps, but at a fraction of the replacement cost. All parts and workmanship are fully guaranteed by Eastern Scientific's one (1) year limited warranty.
Our services include the following:
- Free pick-up & delivery (Boston area)
- Loaner pump, if needed (Nominal fee)
- Complete disassembly
- Thorough cleansing and decontamination
- Meticulous inspection and evaluation of major parts
- Complete and accurate cost estimation provided to our customer
- Replacement of any worn internal parts
- 48+ hours of continuous runtime for performance evaluation
- Final leak check and painting prior to shipping

Scroll Pump Repair  Eastern Scientific Co. provides rebuilding service for all major brands of scroll pumps.
Each pump is completely disassembled and cleaned prior to evaluation. Once cleaned the unit is inspected for any damaged or worn parts. Our standard rebuild includes:
- Tip Seal Kit
- Grease Kit
- Seal Kit
- Bearings
- Exhaust Valve
- New O-rings
If the crankshaft or any major components, such as a scroll or motor, are damaged the customer is notified and quoted in addition to the standard rebuild cost. Our rebuild carries a full one year warranty against defects in parts and workmanship. Please call regarding our advanced exchange program for most scroll heads.
